Pinata inks are known for their beautiful, highly saturated, and acid-free transparent colors. These alcohol-based inks are indelible and moisture-resistant when dry, allowing users to work freely on most clean surfaces. To keep the inks shiny or make them more transparent, Claro Extender can be mixed with Pinata Ink. Claro Extender will not change the ink color but will extend the drying and working time. When applied on top of dry Pinata, Claro Extender will make the ink spread, creating a marble or stone-like texture.

Pinata inks have become the go-to choice for any non-porous surface, finding application in fine arts, scrapbooking, crafts, faux stained glass, card making, faux finishing techniques, and staining wood and leather. The Pinata Overtones Exciter Pack includes the following colors: Golden Yellow, Pink, Coral, Blue-Violet, Teal, Blanco Blanco, Copper, Brass, and Pearl.

The Pinata Color Exciter Pack, on the other hand, features the following colors: Sunbright Yellow, Calabaza Orange, Senorita Magenta, Baja Blue, Rainforest Green, Passion Purple, Blanco Blanco, Mantilla Black, and Rich Gold.
